Team Rubicon Global incubates, launches, oversees and enables Team Rubicon organizations in countries around the world. It helps them reach maturity and supports international deployments. TRg maintains brand control, shares stories, sets operating standards, and maintains strategic international relationships.

Design Principles for TrG

DEFEND AND PROMOTE THE BEST QUALITIES OF THE BRAND

Ensure that the brand remains one of Team Rubicon’s most powerful assets.

STEWARD THE SPIRIT AND CULTURE OF TEAM RUBICON

Allow for TR to grow and evolve as a multinational organization, while staying true to the tenets that made it successful.

ALLOW TEAM RUBICON COUNTRY ORGANIZATIONS TO FLOURISH

Know when to be in the background and when to take the lead.

STAY LEAN AND EFFICIENT

Serve as platform and resource, not a central headquarters or “head office”.

EXTEND IMPACT OF TEAM RUBICON

Add value and evolve to meet the needs of the TR network.

FOSTER CONTINUAL LEARNING AND IMPROVEMENT

Facilitate post-deployment AARs to allow best practices to take hold among TR country organizations.

TrG Functions

1. INCUBATOR

TRG acts as an incubator - providing advice and early support to the newly formed TRx. At inception, TRg provides seed funding. As TRx organizations scale up, find matching funds, and gain their own experience and direction, TRG reduces its financial support.

2. PLATFORM

TRG maintains the network that allows TRx organizations to operate internationally; providing the governance, technology, relationships, and access that allow TRx organizations to succeed. TRG serves as a clearinghouse for best practices and coordinates multinational response to natural disasters.

3. GLOBAL GLUE

As the Team Rubicon network grows, TRG provides the “global glue” that solidifies the entire network. TRG shares stories, coordinates multi-TRx deployments, disseminates best practices, and organizes events that bring TRx organizations together to form bonds that ensure future success.
